I like to help others and count it as my greatest pleasure in life to see a person free himself of the shadows which darken his days.— Scientology Founder, L. Ron Hubbard

David Miscavige
In that capacity, Mr. Miscavige has redefined the term “religious leader” to fit the tasks necessary to direct a truly unique, contemporary religion—a religion born in the twentieth century, which has achieved an unprecedented level of expansion in the twenty-first century, including some 8,500 Churches, Missions and affiliated groups across 165 nations."
A culture is only as great as its dreams, and its dreams are dreamed by artists. — Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard

Recognizing the failings of the system as far back as the 1950s, L. Ron Hubbard developed an actual “technology” of learning with which to master any subject. These educational breakthroughs are collectively known as Study Technology and provide students at every age and educational level with the ingredient missing from modern education—namely, learning how to learn."
"Happiness and strength endure only in the absence of hate. To hate alone is the road to disaster. To love is the road to strength. To love in spite of all is the secret of greatness. And may very well be the greatest secret in this universe."

Scientology Social Betterment Campaigns
From the Scientology website:The global devastation and human misery wrought by drug abuse, illiteracy and moral decay—to say nothing of natural and man-made disasters—is unmistakable. These catastrophes threaten to rip the social fabric to shreds and, in many parts of the world, have caused irreparable damage.
What is conspicuously lacking in combating these virtually apocalyptic scenarios are effective solutions. To that end, in the course of his decades of research into the mind and spirit, L. Ron Hubbard developed methods by which to address the crises that threaten our world.
To bring those solutions to bear, Scientologists have sponsored permanent international headquarters to act as "generation plants," thereby setting in motion broad-scale movements in the name of morality, literacy, drug prevention and rehabilitation.
To realize the greater humanitarian objective of Scientology, Mr. Miscavige set a strategy that led the Church into a multimedia age to provide readily available, easily assimilated and rapidly distributable tools to raise awareness, educate and activate millions.
The result: the Church of Scientology revolutionary social betterment and humanitarian programs. These programs are utterly unique, indisputably cutting-edge and most importantly—effective.
What follows here are brief overviews and accomplishments of the global campaigns of the Scientology religion. Each one is a tangible demonstration of what can be done when one man, dedicated to achieving a vision the Founder entrusted to him, and with the full support of the religious movement he leads, extends the hand of help to others.

To meet the skyrocketing demand for Dianetics and Scientology services and social betterment programs throughout the world, and utilizing the technological advances of the 21st century, Mr. Miscavige launched the Ideal Org (short for “organization”) strategy to transform all Scientology Churches into Ideal Churches and accomplish the goal L. Ron Hubbard set for Scientologists—to one day create Churches that were the physical embodiment of Scientology technology to help all beings attain spiritual freedom.

TRUTH ABOUT DRUGS REAL PEOPLE, REAL STORIES
The Truth About Drugs documentary is a hard-hitting, no-holds-barred educational film covering each of the most commonly abused substances. Told in the straight talk that is the hallmark of this program, here are the compelling firsthand accounts of former users who themselves survived life-shattering addiction.
This is a program of the Foundation for a Drug Free World. The documentary was done in partnership with the Church of Scientology. It was announced by Scientology ecclesiastical leader David Miscavige last year as one of the programs sponsored by the International Association of Scientologists.
the documentary is not for the faint of heart--but when you are trying to dispel the pro-drug propaganda kids are subjected to, this works.
Scientologists are committed to helping people live drug-free lives. Drug dependency not only ruins the lives of those addicted and their families but the harm spreads outward like a plague through the rest of the community. The overwhelming majority of crime is perpetrated by addicts to support their addictions.

Introduction To Scientology’s Sunday Service
This posting appeared on How To Articles and Videos and is a pretty good description of the subject:Like other religions, Scientology has a day for congregation. This really is what they call the Sunday support.
The Sunday support is usually seen as focal point for uniting all the members from the religion on a single day. This may be the day when they participate in their local churches to hear messages of inspiration, teachings and to pray as 1.
The Sunday support consists of numerous various parts. Prime among these are the sermons from the specific church’s leader based about the teachings of Scientology’s late founder – L. Ron Hubbard. An alternative to actual sermons may be the playing of recorded lectures which were created by Hubbard years ago. The rest consist of:
The Recitation From the Creed From the Church Of Scientology
Scientology follows a particular creed. The recitation or reading of this creed is what starts each and every Sunday support. In summary, this creed affirms the aims of Scientology as a religion, outlines the missions from the church, permit members to rededicate themselves towards the church, and outlines the expectations from the person members from the church – be it a supervisor, a manager, an auditor, or a fundamental member.
The Sermon
As was previously mentioned, the Sermons delivered throughout the Sunday support are based about the teachings of its founders. You will find a minimum of 35 million spoken and written words which L. Ron Hubbard delivered regarding the religion and its principles and beliefs. And Hubbard delivered a minimum of 3,000 lectures all over the world which detail the path he has taken towards the founding of Scientology. These earlier teachings are then utilized as the basis for the sermon from the minister for the Sunday support. These are frequently created current and relevant towards the present conditions from the society and every person. The goal from the sermon would be to send away every member with higher spiritual awareness and increased understanding of how to apply the teachings in everyday life.

Right.
Last month, David Miscavige released an entire series of courses. Their brilliance is they help you spot and overcome that one thing or those things that are holding you back or down.
For example, maybe it's how to get and hold a job; how to be successful financially; how to survive as a working mother; what on earth to do with your uncooperative 12-year-old.
For those who don't live near a Scientology church or mission I recommend the Scientology Handbook which contains technology on these subjects, or taking a free online course at the Scientology Volunteer Ministers website.
